Storytelling in Interiors: Crafting Rooms with Personality

In Person

What makes a space feel personal, memorable, and truly lived in? In this inspiring session, we explore how storytelling can shape interiors with depth, character, and emotional resonance, creating rooms that go beyond function to tell a story.

Led by designers Anna Monich and Hugo Loynes, the event will open with a conversation on discovering the story, how narratives emerge from client lifestyles, context, or cultural reference points, and how they can guide the entire design process.

We’ll explore how a clear design language can be defined through textures, materials, and detail, and how thoughtful layering and curation add richness and meaning to a space. The conversation will also delve into the importance of craftsmanship in bringing a story to life, and the powerful role of heritage, place, and cultural identity in creating interiors that feel rooted, authentic, and emotionally connected.

The session will take place at 39 Old Church Street, where light bites will be served.
